Neonatal - Perinatal Medicine Physician

The facility prioritizes work-life balance and delivers outstanding neonatal care, with a robust support system including strong neonatal nurse practitioner assistance.

• Provide comprehensive neonatal care in a 32-bed Level III NICU
• Manage care for infants from a busy newborn nursery service
• Support approximately 4,000 annual deliveries
• Work alongside 2 Neonatologists and 2 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners during daytime hours
• Participate in home-based night call, supported by 24/7 in-house NNP coverage
• Perform and maintain hands-on neonatal procedures
• Collaborate within a supportive, team-oriented, collegial practice environment
• Participate in mentorship and professional development, especially for new graduates
• Deliver high-quality, compassionate neonatal care aligned with hospital standards
• This is a permanent, full-time position requiring residence within the local area

• Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Neonatal Perinatal
• Clean malpractice/license history (highly preferred)
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) - required at presentation
• DEA must be obtained prior to start - required

• Kentucky Medical License (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED
