Position Overview
The University of Utah Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences is actively seeking talented radiologists to join our dynamic team in the exciting new Section Multi‑specialty X (MSX). We offer a supportive and collaborative environment where radiologists can thrive professionally and personally. Coverage is provided onsite and remotely, offering flexible schedules and the convenience of working from home using our state‑of‑the‑art PACS system.
Evening and overnight clinical coverage opportunities are available to accommodate diverse scheduling preferences.

Depending on academic experience and leadership potential, you may be considered for departmental leadership positions, allowing you to shape the future of the department. You will also have responsibilities to teach residents and fellows, fostering the growth of the next generation of radiologists, and collaborate with colleagues across diverse specialties.
Qualifications- Certified or eligible by the American Board of Radiology (or equivalent) with specialized training through a subspecialty fellowship.
- Strong passion for innovative clinical services and radiology education.
- Exceptional clinical and interpersonal skills.
- Eligible to obtain a physician license in the state of Utah.
The Department provides exceptional clinical services across several healthcare facilities, including University Hospital, Huntsman Cancer Hospital, and community clinics in Utah. We pride ourselves on outstanding residency programs in Diagnostic Radiology and Interventional Radiology. Residents participate in daytime, evening, and overnight clinical shifts. Our department was first place winner in the Association of University Radiologists Vydareny Imaging Interpretation Competition in 2023.
We maintain advanced imaging resources: multiple 3T MRIs, dual‑energy CTs, intraoperative MRI, MR‑guided focused ultrasound, PET‑CT scanners, and a large research laboratory equipped with three 3T MRI scanners.
