Advanced Radiology Services (ARS) is one of the largest 100% physician‑owned and managed practices in the country. Our team includes 190 radiologists, 40 advanced practice providers, and more than 180 employees providing administrative support in our wholly owned subsidiary STARS. We provide services to more than 60 different sites across the state of Michigan. ARS is the exclusive radiology provider to West Michigan’s largest Level I trauma center and research hospital, Corewell Health. The American College of Radiology has designated Corewell a Diagnostic Center for Excellence.
What we are looking forWe are seeking candidates for a fully remote Body/Ultrasound Radiologist to cover the evening shift. This person can be based anywhere, however, it is ideal for someone living in the Pacific Time zone or Hawaii.
There are 2 schedule options available in this role:
- Option 1 – alternate schedule: 7 days on and 7 days off; shifts are 8 hours in length and could be 2–10 p or 3–11 p EST.
- Option 2 – standard schedule (less weekend work): 39 weeks/11 weekends; shifts are 7 hours in length and would be 3–10 p EST.
- Interpret body CT, general and specialized body MRI, CTA, and MRA studies.
- Interpret general ultrasound with additional interest in obstetric and vascular ultrasound desired. We are an IAC accredited vascular lab.
- Opportunities for subspecialty reads in cardiovascular and thoracic imaging also available for qualified candidates.
Although we are based in Michigan, we have a well‑established teleradiology practice. We had remote physicians prior to COVID and currently have physicians working in 14 states. We utilize Intelerad PACS, Power Scribe 360 and Clario; we have outstanding IT infrastructure and 24/7 help desk support. Our remote radiologists are encouraged to participate in virtual sections, committees and board meetings and their input is essential to our practice decisions.
You will have outstanding colleagues working virtually by your side as we have dedicated body, cardiac, ER, neuro, pediatric, musculoskeletal, and ultrasound readers on first and second shifts and body, ER, neuro, and pediatric readers on third shift.
We offer a $50K recruitment incentive (sign‑on bonus), competitive compensation plan, stipends for on‑site shifts, and opportunities for additional shifts on a month‑to‑month basis. Our physicians pay $0 for single or family medical/dental/vision coverage and enjoy an $18,000 medical reimbursement account annually. We also contribute the maximum amount allowed to the 401(k) plan ($70,000 in 2025). We offer 13 weeks of vacation for our standard track positions and we have a brand new 6‑week paid parental leave benefit!
Requirements- American Board of Radiology or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology certified.
- Completion of a cross‑sectional body imaging fellowship or an ultrasound fellowship.
