Remote Cardiologist - AI Trainer

About the Role

Mercor is hiring Cardiologists on behalf of a healthcare AI partner developing advanced clinical decision-support systems focused on cardiovascular diagnostics, risk stratification, and longitudinal cardiac care. In this in-person San Francisco role, you will apply deep cardiovascular expertise to review and validate clinical data, directly shaping safe and reliable medical AI. This role bridges real-world cardiology practice with applied AI, ensuring accurate representation of complex cardiac diagnostics, guideline-based management, and high-risk edge cases.

• Review and label cardiology consult notes, ECGs, imaging summaries, cath reports, and case data.
• Validate diagnoses, risk scores, medication regimens, and procedural decisions.
• Audit datasets for clinical accuracy and alignment with ACC / AHA guidelines.
• Review AI-generated summaries and treatment recommendations for safety and soundness.
• Help define annotation standards for acute and chronic cardiac conditions.
• Advise on edge cases (e.g., heart failure, arrhythmias, ACS, structural heart disease).

• MD or DO, board-certified / eligible in Cardiology
• Active U.S. medical license
• 5+ years of clinical experience preferred
• Familiarity with cardiac imaging, ECG interpretation, and cardiovascular pharmacotherapy
• Interest in medical AI or informatics preferred
• SF in person preferred
