We are seeking dedicated and experienced General Medicine Physicians to provide vital Compensation & Pension examinations and Separation Health Assessments across various locations in Missouri. Required Skills:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) with active medical license in Missouri
• Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or related general medicine field
• Proven experience in general medicine, physical assessments, or relevant veteran healthcare
• Ability to perform interview-based assessments and basic physical evaluations such as range of motion and muscle strength testing
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Capacity to work independently and manage time effectively

Nice to Have

Skills:

• Previous experience with Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams or veteran healthcare
• Familiarity with government contracting processes
• Credentialing or onboarding experience with Veteran Evaluation Services (VES) or similar organizations

Preferred

Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• At least 1-2 years of clinical practice in general medicine or a related specialty
• Experience in conducting non-treatment exams, assessments, or working with veteran populations is advantageous

Other Requirements:

• Own or have access to a personal office location within 50 miles of the specified cities
• Ability to work on a PRN basis, offering flexible days (1-4 days per week)
• Willingness to complete required training and perform initial exams for bonus eligibility
• Travel costs included in rates; home office setup preferred
• Certification in relevant medical areas is a plus but not mandatory; no reimbursement for additional certifications or portal training

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $624.00
• Flat Rates for Exams:
  • Half-day (4 hours or less): $800
  • Full-day (5 hours or more): $1,600
• One-time Bonus: $650 after completing all training and first exams
• No overtime or holiday rates apply; strict adherence to flat rate structure
• Travel expenses included within rates; no additional reimbursement
