Role Description

The U.S. Navy Reserves is seeking skilled Medical Officers specializing in General Surgery to join its Reserve Component. As a Medical Officer, you will provide expert patient care, perform surgical procedures, assist in training medical staff, and collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of medical care. This part-time hybrid role is based in the Salt Lake City Metropolitan Area, with some flexibility for remote work and in-person responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications
  • Expertise in Medicine and Patient Care to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services
  • Proficiency in Surgery and related procedures, with experience handling diverse patient needs
  • Strong aptitude for Training and mentoring medical or support staff
  • Experience in collaborating and Working with Physicians in a team-based healthcare environment
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
  • Valid medical license to practice surgery in the United States
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic, mission-focused environment
