As a key provider, you'll perform essential assessments, including Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments, helping veterans receive the benefits they deserve and making a meaningful impact in healthcare.
Required Skills:- MD or DO degree with active medical license in good standing
- Proven experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or general medicine
- Strong interviewing skills with the ability to perform physical assessments, such as range of motion and muscle strength testing
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a clinic setting
- Comfort with interview-based assessments with minimal physical examination requirements
Skills:
- Prior experience with compensation and pension examinations
- Familiarity with veterans' healthcare needs
- Certification in relevant specialties or additional licenses
- Experience working as a contractor or in a government healthcare setting
Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical practice in general medicine or related fields
- Previous experience performing non-treatment exams and assessments preferred
- Must have own office location (for remote work) or availability to conduct exams at designated sites
- Willingness to work on a PRN basis, with flexible scheduling (½-day or full-day shifts)
- No travel reimbursements outside of local rates; travel included in compensation
- Ability to adhere to scheduling start date of 02/02/2026
- Commitment to completing exams, report submissions, and follow-up administrative work as required
