OVERNIGHT NEURO-RADIOLOGIST — REMOTE
The Department of Radiology at Cleveland Clinic is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Neuroradiologist to join our established emergency radiology team.
Overnight coverage consists of shifts averaging 9 hours in length between 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. EST, with a schedule of 7 nights on followed by 14 nights off. Each radiologist flexibly schedules 4 weeks of emergency backup throughout the year, which is rarely activated (less than one night per year over the last 5 years). There are ample in‑house moonlighting opportunities available if desired.
Each overnight team consists of three neuroradiologists, in addition to 10 other radiologists of varying specialties and generalists. Team dynamics are highly collegial despite the remote nature of the job, facilitated by shared group chats and flexible trade scheduling.
We take great pride in prioritizing quality over quantity, maintaining manageable workloads and adequate staffing to facilitate quality. The overnight section enjoys universal support and appreciation from department leadership and has a low turnover rate.
All necessary equipment—including work phone and workstation—supplied at no cost. Full reimbursement for onboarding and ongoing licensure expenses, funding for society membership dues, 24/7 IT support, and support navigators to assist with provider and site communications.
The Overnight Section is housed within the Division of General Radiology, covering the Main Campus ED, Cleveland Clinic Florida sites, and a single pediatric site in Louisiana with nightly volumes in the single digits. All departments and outpatient facilities within the Cleveland Clinic system are networked with PACS (AGFA EI), Voice Recognition (Powerscribe 360), and EMR (EPIC).
