Physician​/Infectious Disease​/Nationwide​/Infectious Disease physician remote work

Position: Physician / Infectious Disease / Nationwide / Permanent / Infectious Disease physician needed for remote work Job
STG International is seeking a board certified Infectious Disease physician to perform medical review work and provide consultation and guidance to the Department of Labor (DOL) for a variety of workers compensation cases. Each physician will receive work on a case by case basis and will be compensated for their work at an hourly rate for time spent performing the reviews.

Work will be performed remotely (outside of DOL facilities) at FOH offices or from the physicians home/office and will require use of email and the internet. It is preferred that the physician will be compensated as a 1099 contractor and can provide their own malpractice insurance.

This is not a high-volume position

Minimum Requirements:

Physicians eligible to perform the work must maintain the following credentials and meet the following requirements specified by DOL and FOH: 1. Current, unrestricted license in any state.
2. Fellowship training and Board of Infectious Disease certification
3. Must have a minimum of two years experience clinical practice and must continue to see patients at a minimum of 240 hrs annually.
4. Must possess understanding of Federal safety and health regulations, and experience reviewing workers compensation cases.
