WHA is seeking a full-time OB/Gyn Laborist to provide after-hours call coverage for our established patient panel. This is a home-based call model — you are not required to be physically present at the hospital unless a patient requires physician attention. When called in, you must be able to arrive e's Regional Medical Center within 20 minutes.

This is not a hospital laborist role. St. Luke's maintains its own laborist team to manage unclaimed and precipitous deliveries. Your focus is exclusively on coverage for our clinic's patients.

• Provide after-hours telephone and on-call coverage for WHA patients
• Respond to hospital needs (Labor & Delivery, ER) as required for our patient panel
• Work collaboratively with St. Luke's nursing and support staff
• ER call coverage included as part of this role
• Opportunity — though not required — to continue performing GYN surgical procedures alongside our physician team

This position carries no clinic work requirements. You will not be expected to see outpatient patients or maintain a clinic schedule as part of this role.

For candidates who wish to stay clinically active in an outpatient setting, there is an opportunity to participate in clinic shifts with our team for additional compensation. This is entirely optional and can be arranged based on mutual interest and availability.

• Approximately 14 call days per month, with shifts beginning at 4:00 PM.
• Every‑other‑week rotation
• 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off blocks
• Other schedules considered based on mutual fit

• OB/Gyn licensed or eligible in the state of Idaho
• Ability to obtain and maintain active, unrestricted privileges e’s Health System – Treasure Valley.
• Shares our passion for women's health and a collaborative team culture
• Comfortable with autonomous after‑hours call management
• Resides within — or willing to relocate to — within 20 minutes of St. Luke's Regional Medical Center, Boise
• Interest in maintaining GYN surgical skills is a plus, but not required
• Strong communicator with experience managing obstetric triage and emergencies by phone

• Idaho Board of Medicine Physician/Surgeon License (Current or ability to obtain)
• Idaho Board of Pharmacy Controlled Substance Registration (Current or ability to obtain)
• DEA License (Current or ability to obtain)
• Current or ability to obtain active and unrestricted privileges with St. Luke's Health System - Treasure Valley
