The Department of Radiology at the University of Colorado Denver is seeking applicants for a full-time General Radiologist faculty physician. We are interested in candidates at any stage of their career (Sr. Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor). This is an open-track position with faculty able to select between the Academic/Tenure-Eligible and Clinical Practice pathways.
The Clinical Practice pathway focuses on clinical work with a WRVU-based compensation plan rewarding clinical productivity. The Tenure-Eligible pathway emphasizes an academic track with a non-clinical incentive plan that rewards academic work. Exceptional international candidates who need J1 waivers are encouraged for either pathway.
Responsibilities- Interpret imaging studies across modalities (e.g., X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound)
- Read studies from all modalities with subspecialties in Abdominal, Neuro, MSK, and Chest sections
- Participate and collaborate in multidisciplinary conferences
- Involvement in fellow and resident education is expected
Onsite – this role is based in Aurora, CO. Hybrid options may be available depending on the clinical schedule. Remote work is eligible in some cases, with the employee required to be in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications
Licensed MD or DO from an accredited U.S. institution, or equivalent. If non-U.S. trained, A eligible or certified and Colorado license by time of hire. This is an open-rank position; appointment rank will reflect demonstrated contributions and experience in teaching, clinical work, research, and/or service.
Sr. Instructor - Professor- Minimum Qualifications:
Licensed MD or DO; for non-U.S. graduates, A eligibility or certification;
Colorado license by hire time
- Subspecialty fellowship training
- Experience collaborating with multiple clinical specialties
Skills and Abilities
- Interpretation of radiology imaging studies and procedures
- Competence in basic radiology procedures
