Provider Specialty Cardiology Overview :

Sentara Albemarle Medical Center (SAMC) is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our collaborative, patient-focused cardiovascular program serving northeastern North Carolina.

This role offers a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient cardiology with strong team support and a sustainable call schedule.

** Position Highlights:

Required Procedures:

Diagnostic cardiac catheterizations

Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) imaging

Weekly

Schedule:

3–4 days inpatient rounding (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) with APP support1–2 days outpatient clinic (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Clinic Volume:

Average of 20 patients per dayCall

Schedule:

1:4 call rotation

Full-Time and PRN/Flex options available

Leverage advanced AI tools like Cleerly and DASI to enhance cardiac diagnostics and decision-making, while DAX Copilot streamlines inpatient and outpatient charting—helping clinicians work smarter, faster, and more accurately

Requirements:

BC/BE in Cardiovascular Medicine

Experience with Nuclear Stress Testing

Experience with NIV and echocardiography
