Position: Faculty Physician - Body Imaging Radiologist (Academic/Clinician Track) Home Workstations Provided

About the Position

The Department of Radiology at the University of Minnesota Medical School seeks a full‑time radiologist. Primary job duties include interpreting diagnostic imaging of the chest, abdomen, and pelvis at a qua ternary care center serving both inpatients and outpatients. Fellowship specialization in abdominal or chest imaging is strongly preferred.

Applicants must have a desire to provide high‑quality clinical care. Both clinically focused and academic track applicants will be considered. Academic rank, compensation, and appointment type will be based on qualifications and experience.

Minimum Requirements
  • M.D. or equivalent degree.
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Minnesota.
  • Board certified or board eligible in radiology.
  • Completion of ACGME accredited radiology training.
  • For academic track applicants: evidence of scholarship in research or education.
Compensation and Benefits

Compensation is competitive and based on AAMC salary benchmarks.

  • Base salary range: $396,000 – $476,000 (commensurate with experience, qualifications, and cFTE).
  • Clinical salary provided through M Physicians; academic salary based on effort.
  • All faculty workstations at their homes, enabling remote work within Minnesota.
  • Evening and weekend call duties performed from home.
  • J‑1 waivers for 2027 available;
