Position Overview
The University of Minnesota Medical School’s Department of Radiology seeks one full‑time A ‑board‑certified or board‑eligible radiologist with a primary interest in neuroradiology.
Academic rank, compensation and appointment type will be based on qualifications and experience.
Candidates must have demonstrated ability in teaching and in scholarly productivity in at least one specialty area in radiology.
Minimum QualificationsM.D. or equivalent degree.
Eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Minnesota.
Board certified or board eligible in radiology with completion of an ACGME‑accredited radiology residency.
Preferred QualificationsCompletion of a neuroradiology fellowship.
- Advanced imaging expertise (e.g., fMRI, ASL, DTI, MRP).
- Subspecialty interests in Pediatrics, Interventional Radiology, Spine Therapy, Head & Neck, or Neuro‑Oncology.
The position will spend significant time on a busy neuroradiology service that serves both inpatients and outpatients.
Faculty will participate in all facets of neuroradiology, as well as post‑graduate and medical‑school instruction and teaching in a hospital setting.
Academic time will be used to pursue scholarly work in the candidate’s area of specialty or research expertise.
Academic faculty will be active in national organizations and foster an academic environment for medical students, residents, and colleagues.

Base salary range: $396,000–$476,000, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and full‑time equivalent.
Faculty are provided home workstations, allowing remote work within Minnesota; evening and weekend call are taken from home.
