Remote Evening and Overnight Emergency Teleradiology position offering high pay and flexibility. Candidate will provide coverage for Dartmouth Health’s emergency imaging division from a location in one of the following states:
Florida, Missouri, Washington, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, or Maine.
Role involves reading standard emergency radiology case mix including x‑rays, CTs, ultrasounds and limited MR studies during evening and overnight shifts. Work is performed in a team model, with collaboration across the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (a Level 1 Trauma Center with a Comprehensive Stroke Center) and other regional facilities.
Schedule7‑day‑on, 14‑day‑off rotation with staggered, overlapping evening and overnight shifts. Full‑time position requires 4 weeks of work every 12 weeks; part‑time options allow 3 or 2 weeks of work per 12 weeks. Extra “moonlighting” hours may be accepted for additional income.
Responsibilities- Read and report emergency radiology cases and provide timely image interpretation for clinicians.
- Participate in a peer‑learning program and quality review processes.
- Perform all reading remotely with a Dartmouth‑owned station and full PACS access; no on‑site responsibilities.
- No routine residency teaching, research, or scholarly duties; occasional lectures may be requested on a voluntary basis.
- Diagnostic Radiology Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Valid medical license in New Hampshire and Vermont and in the applicant’s state of residence
- Resident in one of the permitted states (FL, MO, WA, CT, MA, NH, VT, ME) with a fixed address at which to provide services
Remote readers are W‑2 employees compensated via a productivity‑based radiology plan with a competitive guaranteed base salary plus performance incentives.
