Overview
The University of Minnesota Medical School's Department of Radiology seeks a full-time A board‑certified or board‑eligible neuroradiologist with a primary interest in neuroradiology. Academic rank, compensation and appointment type will be based on qualifications and experience. Candidates must demonstrate teaching ability and scholarly productivity in one or more specialty areas in radiology.
Minimum Requirements- M.D. or equivalent degree
- Eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Minnesota
- Board certified or board eligible in radiology
- Completion of ACGME‑accredited radiology residency training
- Preferred:
Completion of a neuroradiology fellowship - Preferred:
Advanced imaging expertise (e.g., fMRI, ASL, DTI, MRP) - Preferred:
Subspecialization within neuroradiology (Pediatrics, Interventional, Spine Therapy, Head & Neck, Neuro‑Oncology)
The position will spend significant time on a busy neuroradiology service that serves both inpatients and outpatients. Faculty will participate in all facets of neuroradiology, post‑graduate and medical school instruction, and teaching in a hospital setting. Academic time will be used to pursue scholarly work in the candidate's area of specialty or research expertise. Faculty will be active in national organizations and foster an academic environment for medical students, residents, and colleagues.
The division’s particular strengths include solid organ and stem cell transplantation, head & neck cancer, neuro‑oncology, and pediatrics with an emphasis on rare disorders.

This role is dually employed by M Physicians and the University of Minnesota. Total salary is market competitive and based on AAMC salary benchmarks. Clinical salary, aligned with clinical effort, is provided through M Physicians. The base salary range is $396,000 – $476,000, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and cFTE. Salary from the University depends on the academic effort of the person hired.
