Weatherby Healthcare seeks a psychiatrist for locum tenens help in GA, covering an inpatient unit and long-term psychiatric facility in Columbus. Onsite rounds run 8:30 am–6 pm, Mon–Thu with 24-hour weekend remote call.
The role involves treating 12–16 patients per call shift and handling involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, ECT and pharmacotherapy when needed. Experience in acute psychiatric care is preferred; backfill coverage is urgent.
