Position Title: Musculoskeletal Radiologist

Academic Rank: Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor (commensurate with experience)
The Department of Radiology at Tufts Medical Center seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Musculoskeletal Radiologist. The role involves interpreting MSK MR and CT scans, bone/joint X‑rays, performing joint injections and arthrograms, and limited soft‑tissue ultrasound. It offers opportunities for teaching residents, medical students, participating in research and quality improvement projects, and collaborating in multidisciplinary conferences.
Key Responsibilities- Providing exceptional patient care through interpretation of MSK MR, CT, bone/joint X‑rays, procedures (joint injections/aspirations, arthrograms), and limited soft‑tissue ultrasound.
- Teaching radiology residents and medical students; serving as an active member in research projects and quality improvement projects with residents and students.
- Participating in multidisciplinary and educational conferences.
- Receiving clinical and non‑clinical work‑based incentives, paid annually at the time of performance review.
- Maintaining an on‑site presence while allowing partial remote work.
- Working weekday shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; weekend on‑call duties (Plain Film, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM) are remote with home workstations.
- Possibility of additional opportunities such as moonlighting, academic time, administrative time, and Section Chief role based on experience.
- MD, DO, MBBS, or equivalent degree.
- Board eligibility/certification by the American Board of Radiology (A ) or American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AO ).
- Completion or ongoing completion of an MSK radiology fellowship (scheduled to complete after residency, if applicable).
- Medical licensure or eligibility in Massachusetts.
The salary range is $–$ annually, with final compensation determined during the selection process based on experience, education, internal equity, and academic rank.
