Overview
The division of Community Radiology of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine has an immediate opening for a Neuroradiologist and Body/Diagnostic Radiologist with a highly desirable 7 days on / 7 days off
weekday schedule.
Expedited interview and hiring process. Opportunity to join our fully supported and established community hospital division in the national capital region (NCR), interpreting a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies. The flexible hybrid or remote position provides an excellent balance of clinical practice and personal time. A competitive compensation package with a salary range of $485,000 to $535,000, plus a $50,000 sign‑on bonus, robust benefits package, and additional moonlighting opportunities.

The Physician will provide high‑quality clinical care within their specialty to patients of Johns Hopkins University (JHU) at the NCR. This role requires the delivery of competent, comprehensive, and patient‑centered medical services aligned with prevailing standards of medical practice, professional ethics, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The Physician is expected to exercise independent clinical judgment and practice in accordance with JHU policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines.

- Subspecialized including thoracic, abdominal, and pelvic imaging
- Collegial mix of experienced and recently trained body imagers
- No Neuro, Mammo, IR, PET, Peds or outpatient MSK
- No research or teaching requirements
- Home workstation provided
- No overnight shifts
- Complete all required medical records accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner, including:
- Imaging interpretation reports
- Patient encounter notes
- Billing forms and coding documentation
- Any additional reports or documentation required by JHU policies or applicable laws
- Ensure documentation supports the services billed and meets institutional and regulatory standards
- Participate cooperatively in internal peer review, quality improvement initiatives, and performance evaluations as required
Clinical services will be performed at Sibley Memorial Hospital, Suburban Hospital, and Johns Hopkins Imaging sites.
Qualifications- Applicants must be Board Certified with Maryland and DC Licensure
The referenced salary range represents the minimum and maximum salaries for this position and is based on Johns Hopkins University's good faith belief at the time of posting. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered to the selected candidate may vary and will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and other factors, as reasonably determined by the University.
