The Indiana University School of Medicine Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences invites applications for a fellowship-trained Neuroradiologist to join the Neuroradiology Division, a 26-member strong and growing team with subspecialty coverage in head and neck imaging and pediatric neuroradiology. This is an opportunity to practice at one of the nation’s premier academic medical centers in a full-time, traditional daytime position with full benefits and provision to balance clinical and academic time.
The position may be at the assistant, associate, or full professor level based on candidate experience, with both tenured and non-tenure track appointments available.
- Adult neuroradiology position based at the IU Health Neuroscience Center in Indianapolis, Indiana, covering multiple in-state hospitals and imaging facilities.
- Traditional daytime schedule with no overnight call responsibilities.
- Work-from-home opportunities shared among the Neuroradiology team, in addition to on-site assignments.
- Division subspecialty coverage in head and neck imaging and pediatric neuroradiology.
- Opportunities to join our procedural team for the interested candidate.
- Interpret all diagnostic neuroradiology imaging studies, both adult and pediatric, on a collegial and growing 26-member team.
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and specialty conferences, collaborating closely with clinicians.

- New consolidated Academic Health Center, including hospital and outpatient facilities, opening in 2027.
- Our department ranked 1st among Big Ten schools and 13th nationally in overall NIH funding by the Academy for Radiology & Biomedical Imaging Research in 2024.
- Collaborate with the newly established departmental Medical Imaging Research Institute ( MIRI ), including the Cancer Imaging and Theranostics Research Center, Research Imaging Core, and state-of-the-art PET /CT, PET /MR, and preclinical imaging infrastructure.
- Total compensation (salary + benefits) is estimated between $610,000-$650,000 depending on academic rank, with ample opportunities for supplemental income.
- This position is eligible for a signing bonus of up to $100,000.
