UNC Health Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Infectious Disease Physician (MD/DO) to provide per diem virtual teleacute services to a variety of patients at multiple UNC Health community hospital facilities. This role will provide both synchronous and asynchronous consults to patients.
Remote position, offering the opportunity for work/life balance with no commute.
Variable shifts;
Hours of Operation are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
Virtual consultations of hospitalized patients, consisting of adults 18 and older.
High-quality care to adult (18+ years old) hospital patients who need medical services.
Candidate must be licensed in North Carolina.
No call.
EPIC electronic medical record platform utilized.
2+ years of experience is preferred.
Board Certified/Eligible in Infectious Disease.
Telemedicine experience is a plus but not required.
Open-minded and flexible with change.
