The Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences at Vanderbilt Health is expanding! We are seeking full-time neuroradiologists for the clinical practice track to work in a 7 days on, 14 days off coverage model.

This position will be remote and will read inpatient and outpatient neuro subspecialty exams during the weekday hours of 3pm – 11pm (CST), and weekend hours of 2pm-11pm (CST) as part of a 1 in 3 coverage model. Each position will also work one daylight shift per month.
This position can be worked fully remotely.


Position Summary

  • Section comprised of 21 fellowship-trained faculty
  • Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Focus on well-being, with a culture of collegiality, collaboration, & creativity
  • Services provided to Vanderbilt Health hospitals and outpatient imaging centers
  • Level 1 trauma center, tertiary referral center
  • Opportunity to develop and grow professional interests
  • Academic rank and salary are commensurate with experience


Position Requirements

  • Fellowship training in neuroradiology
  • Hold an MD or equivalent degree
  • A  eligible/certified
  • Eligible for TN license
  • Work a minimum of 134 annual shifts; 122 evening shifts + 12 day shifts (one a month)
  • Opportunities to participate in multidisciplinary conferences and teach trainees and medical students
