You will be assigned to a Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) and may be asked to cover the Inpatient Residential Rehab Treatment Program (RRTP), Urgent Care, or Home-Based Primary Care (HBPC) during staffing shortages.

Pay:
Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)
Retirement:

Contract:
No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restriction on moonlighting
The duties and responsibilities of this position will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a panel of patients.
- Provide medical care in an outpatient setting following PACT Principles.
- Provide comprehensive patient-centered primary medical care.
- Identify acute, subacute, and chronic health problems.
- Use principles of risk management to identify system issues which impact patient care.
- Order and evaluate appropriate diagnostic tests.
- Adhere to up-to-date clinical practice guidelines for patient chronic diseases.
- Assures clinical care provided meets all timelines and required documentation as required by VA
- Reviews alerts daily and have no more than 100 alerts at any given time.
- Completes encounter notes within 48 hours
- Serve as Medical Officer of the Day (MOD) 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the Coatesville VAMC once or twice each month.
- May be required to provide coverage at the West Norriton and Delaware County CBOCs during staffing shortages.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. May include extended hours or an occasional evening and/or Saturday based on patient needs. Due to the nature of work, the incumbent may occasionally be required to stay later than 4:30 pm, as required.
