Q Care Plus, a national leader in telemedicine-based HIV prevention, sexual health, and specialty care, is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Senior Clinician (MD/DO) to join our leadership team.
This unique physician leadership opportunity combines clinical excellence with strategic oversight, allowing you to shape care delivery for thousands of patients nationwide while mentoring and developing a growing team of clinicians. Reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer, the Senior Clinician serves as a key clinical leader responsible for provider performance, quality assurance, patient safety, protocol adherence, and ongoing clinical innovation across our virtual care platform.
This role is approximately 75% leadership and operational oversight and 25% direct patient care, offering the opportunity to drive meaningful impact at scale while maintaining clinical practice.

Clinical Leadership & Provider Oversight
- Provide leadership, coaching, mentorship, and supervision for a national team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.
- Monitor clinical quality, patient outcomes, and adherence to established clinical protocols.
- Conduct routine chart reviews and quality assurance audits.
- Manage clinical escalations, patient safety concerns, and provider performance issues.
- Lead performance feedback, corrective action processes, and annual evaluations.
- Foster clinician engagement, wellness, and professional development.
- Partner with Clinical Operations and Medical Leadership to optimize workflows and care delivery.
- Ensure consistent adherence to policies, protocols, and standard operating procedures.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Support implementation of new service lines, clinical programs, and platform enhancements.
- Collaborate with external supervising physicians and collaborative practice partners.
- Work closely with executive leadership to advance organizational goals.
- Assist with clinician recruitment, candidate assessment, and onboarding.
- Contribute to protocol development, clinical workflow optimization, and practice expansion initiatives.
- Help shape the future of virtual infectious disease and preventive healthcare services.
- Deliver telemedicine-based clinical care in accordance with evidence-based guidelines.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients using Q Care Plus telehealth platforms.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate appropriate follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation.
Required
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Active, medical license in at least one state; multiple state licenses preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in HIV, infectious disease, sexual health, public health, STI care, or a related field.
