Longstanding nonprofit human services agency with a reputation for supporting veterans and individuals and families faced with a wide range of challenges – mental illness, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and HIV/AIDS, often compounded by histories of homelessness, substance abuse, poverty and unemployment – is seeking a BE/BC Psychiatrist who will:
- Lead their Brooklyn-based ACT Team
- Provide psychiatric assessment, medical assessment, and treatment
- Have overall clinical responsibility for monitoring the treatment of participants
- Develop, maintain, and supervise medication administration
- Provide clinical supervision, education, and training of ACT Team personnel
- BE/BC Psychiatrist
- Experience in ACT and/or community mental health settings preferred
- Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team and coordinate comprehensive care
Work 4 days per week, typically 9-5. Could be 5 days per week if candidate prefers. Excellent salary, full benefits, and generous paid time off.
