We are seeking an experienced Medical Doctor (MD/DO) with a strong background in personal injury medicine to join our growing Arizona medical practice on a part-time basis.
This position is designed for a physician who is already familiar with the personal injury field and understands the evaluation, treatment, documentation, and ongoing management of patients following motor vehicle accidents and other personal injury-related trauma.
The position consists of two days per week: one in-person clinical dat and one remote telemedicine day.
In Person Clinical Day - 1 Day Per WeekThe physician will work one 8-hour in-person clinical day per week.
The in-person day will ultimately be split between our Tucson and Phoenix locations based on patient volume and scheduling needs.
Compensation- $1,200 guaranteed day rate for the 8-hour in-person clinical day.
- The day rate includes up to 24 completed patient visits.
- For every completed patient visit 25 and above the physician will receive an additional $50 per patient.
- For example:
- 25 patients = $1,200
- 27 patients = $1,300
- 30 patients = $1,450
- 35 patients = $1,700

The physician will also have one scheduled telemedicine day per week, which can be performed remotely from home.
Compensation- $400 guaranteed minimum for the telemedicine day, including up to 8 completed patient visits.
- For every completed telemedicine visit above 8 patients, the physician will receive an additional $50 per patient
- For example:
- 8 patients = $400
- 10 patients = $500
- 12 patients = $600
- 15 patients = $750
- 20 patients = $1,000

This position requires a physician with prior personal injury experience who is comfortable independently evaluating and managing patients involved in motor vehicle accidents and other injury-related cases.
The physician should already be familiar with the clinical and documentation requirements associated with personal injury medicine, including:
- Initial medical evaluations and follow-up evaluations
- Motor vehicle accident and trauma-related injuries
- Personal injury medical documentation and appropriate treatment planning
- Ordering and reviewing diagnostic imaging when medically appropriate
- Referral and coordination with chiropractic, physical rehabilitation, pain management, imaging, and other specialties
- Trigger point injections (TPI)
- Evaluation and management of common musculoskeletal injuries
- Traumatic brain injury (TBI) evaluation and screening
- Familiarity with concussion and post-concussion symptoms
- Appropriate utilization of diagnostic testing and other modalities commonly encountered within the personal injury setting
- Understanding of the multidisciplinary nature of personal injury treatment and continuity of care
The physician should be comfortable working collaboratively with chiropractors, pain management providers, imaging facilities, attorneys, case managers, and other professionals involved in a patient's personal injury case while maintaining independent medical judgement and appropriate standards of care.
Position StructureThis is a consistent two-day-per-week opportunity consisting of:
- 8-hour clinical day
- Split between Tucson & Phoenix based on volume
- $1,200 guaranteed day rate
- Up to 25 completed patients
- $50 for each completed patient above 25
- Work from home
- $400 guaranteed minimum
- Up to 8 completed telemedicine patients
- $50 for each completed patient above 8
The practice provides the patient base, scheduling, facilities, support staff, EHR, billing, and administrative infrastructure.
Ideal CandidateWe are looking for an experienced, personable, and efficient physician who understands the unique clinical environment of personal injury medicine.
The ideal candidate is capable of managing a relatively high-volume clinical schedule without sacrificing the quality of patient care or documentation and understands the importance of thorough evaluations, appropriate treatment reccomemdations, timely documentation, and continuity of care.
This is intended to develop into a long-term physician relationship with our organization, with the potential for additional clinical days and expended responsibilities as our Phoenix and Tucson patient volumes continue to grow.
