OB​/GYN Physician | Brenham, Texas

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a BC/BE Obstetrician-Gynecologist to join a well-established and growing practice in Brenham, Texas. The opening reflects a significant expansion of Ob-Gyn services in response to population growth and proactive primary care provider hiring across the region. The successful candidate will join a collegial team of Ob-Gyns and employed Family Medicine Obstetricians providing comprehensive women's health services to the Brenham community and the surrounding area between Austin and Houston.

Position Highlights

• Join a well-established practice of 3 Ob-Gyns and 3 employed FMOBs (plus 4 independent FMOBs), supported by 1-2 CNMs (or 1 CNM and 1 PA) and a neonatal nurse practitioner
• Balanced inpatient/outpatient practice, seeing approximately 18-22 patients per day in-office with no restrictive minimum or maximum panel size
• Light call obligation Ob-Gyns provide backup coverage only for the FMOB team and ER gyn call, generally on a Q4 rotation; no primary weekday or weekend call
• In-office ultrasound available; most general Ob-Gyn in-office procedures encouraged
• Direct access to general surgery, urology, radiology, and cardiology in Brenham, plus the full specialty network of a large health system
• Epic EMR across both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Telemedicine support available through MFM and Ob-Gyn services, with both clinic- and home-based delivery options
• Deliver care at a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital (19 med/surg beds, 6 L&D/postpartum beds) the only hospital between Austin and Houston
• Approximately 400-500 deliveries per year (roughly 30-40 per month)
• Academic appointment opportunities available, including Associate Clinical Professor status with Texas A&M College of Medicine, the UMHB PA program, and/or Baylor College of Medicine (Temple)
