Advent Health is seeking board-certified Critical Care Physicians to join their innovative Tele-ICU team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will deliver real-time management and critical care services through advanced telemedicine technology across multiple hospital locations during overnight shifts. - Remote role covering multiple Advent Health hospital locations across Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Kansas, Illinois, Texas, North Carolina, and Wisconsin
- Tele-ICU team setting
Responsibilities
- Provide remote critical care consultation, management, and intervention for ICU patients across Advent Health hospitals
- Collaborate effectively with on-site intensivists, hospitalists, nurses, and advanced practice providers (APPs) to create comprehensive patient care plans
- Utilize state-of-the-art telemedicine platforms for real-time patient assessments, management, and documentation
- Respond promptly to rapid response events, critical changes, and emergencies
- Actively participate in multidisciplinary rounds, case discussions, and quality improvement initiatives
- Provide continuous vigilance to identify opportunities for intervention to improve patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records per Advent Health policies and regulatory standards
- Actively participate in and contribute to developing telemedicine operating procedures and protocols for telemedicine care for ICU patients

Shift & Schedule
- Full-Time
- Overnight shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
- Work
-hour clinical shifts monthly or 180 clinical shifts yearly
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Board Certification in Critical Care Medicine
- Active, unrestricted medical licenses in states serviced by Advent Health
- Active, unrestricted federal Drug Enforcement Agency license
- Minimum 5 years of bedside ICU experience
- Telemedicine experience preferred but not required
- Strong proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR), telemedicine technology, and computer skills
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead remotely during urgent clinical situations
- Independent, self-motivated, and adept at collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
