ATTRIBUTES- Experience as a PA in palliative care, hospice or relevant field is required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Compassionate, warm and patient focused
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Exceptional documentation skills and professional behavior
- Patient Care. Provide primarily remote care to palliative care patients, responding to triage needs and more urgent concerns through video visits.
- Patient Satisfaction. Communicate with patients and families with empathy and understanding, providing education, support, and guidance related to their care.
- Care Coordination. Collaborate with the palliative care team to assess patient needs, provide appropriate recommendations, and coordinate care.
- In-Person Coverage. Complete required in-person training and provide occasional in-person coverage for vacation and sick-call needs.
