Diagnostic Radiology/Nuclear Medicine - Radiology-Diagnostic (Detroit, MI)

Looking for a flexible remote radiology position with a leading facility in Detroit, Michigan? • Location: Detroit, MI (Remote)
• Start Date: 09/19/2026
• Duration: 2-3 weeks per month
• Shift: Night shift, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM EST
• Hours/Week: Variable (~7 shifts/month)
• Employment Type: Contract/Locum
• License/Certs: Active Medical License, DEA waiver (no DEA needed), BLS not required
• Experience: Prior radiology/Nuclear Medicine experience preferred

• Hourly Rate: $1.00/hour
• Pay Package: Discussed upon application

• Interpret diagnostic images in emergency settings during overnight shifts
• Manage a caseload of 80-130 cases per 8-hour shift
• Collaborate with a team of 2-3 residents and 1 radiologist
• Document and submit case logs as required
• Provide expert radiology readings remotely using Sectra PACS, Cerner EMR, and Powerscribe dictation systems
• Assist in resident teaching and education
• Maintain high-quality standards in diagnostic reporting across diverse cases

Required:

• Active medical license in Michigan or willingness to obtain
• DEA waiver (no DEA required, but waiver needed)
• Clean malpractice history
• Experience in diagnostic radiology or nuclear medicine
• Case log submission and documentation skills

Preferred:

• Prior remote work experience
• Knowledge of Sectra, Cerner, Powerscribe systems
