RP Chicago is seeking a full-time evening remote emergency/general diagnostic radiologist for our Chicago based practice. This role offers the choice of a 7on 7off or 7on 14 off block schedule, covering the 6pm-3:30am CST shift, interpreting majority STAT/ER cases. Radiologists in this position benefit from optimized worklists and balanced case distribution designed to promote efficiency and minimize unnecessary interruptions during overnight shifts.
Practice Info
- Remote position based in IL, covering multiple hospital sites for RP Chicago
- Interpreting majority STAT/ER cases, urgent care, and inpatient services
- Case mix includes CT, mrI, ultrasound, and plain films from busy emergency departments and inpatient services
- Leverages Radiology Partners' Mosaic AI Operating System
- Remote support provided by other evening radiologists
- No mammography or PET CT
Responsibilities
- Ability to interpret general emergency (STAT ER, urgent care and inpatient) for multiple hospital sites covered by RP Chicago
Compensation
- $500K-$750K Base Salary (range dependent on desired shift schedule)
- Up to $100K Starting Bonus
- $4,100 per shift
- Productivity Bonus Available

Shift & Schedule
- Employment Type:
Full-time (30+ hrs/week) - Schedule/Shift: Evening/2nd Shift
- Choice of 7on; 7off or 7on; 14 off block schedule
- Hours:
6pm - 3:30am CST - No other shift requirements outside of dedicated shift hours
Requirements
- Candidates must be residency-trained in Diagnostic Radiology, with a preference for Emergency Radiology
- Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, Board-certified and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology
- Board certified/eligible by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
- Ability to secure an Illinois, Iowa and Indiana Licenses
