Medical Director, Autoimmune Disease, leading Adaptive's autoimmune diagnostics development.
Responsibilities- oversee clinical development planning, evidence strategies, and early clinical experience.
- develop KOL relationships and scientific collaborations.
- provide medical insights to R&D, commercial, and market access teams.
- guide clinical validation, utility studies, and regulatory documents.
- build internal autoimmune expertise.
- and potentially grow the team as the program advances.
- MD/DO with 8+ years post-training experience, including at least 4 years in autoimmune or immune-mediated disease and 4+ years in industry (biotech, diagnostics, or pharma)
- board certification or eligibility
- experience in clinical evidence planning, real-world evidence, and biomarker development
- knowledge of diagnostic study design, GCP, FDA, CLIA/CAP, and related regulations
- proven cross-functional partnership skills
- ability to travel up to 25%
experience advancing diagnostics or biomarkers through validation or launch, supporting drug development, or building medical capabilities in new disease areas.
