Director of Learning Science, 2 Hour Learning (Remote)
Base pay range: $200.00/hr.
You’ve owned a clear academic vision and driven measurable outcomes. You’ve led from the front lines, not from the sidelines, and when it comes to learning science, you’ve built something tangible, generated results that validate it, and earned the credibility to present it publicly. 2 Hour Learning is seeking its academic leader to unify execution across varied school models, elevate academic leadership standards, and serve as the external voice of a movement anchored in rigorous learning science.
WhatYou Will Be Doing
- Develop academic frameworks that convert learning science into actionable guidance for curriculum, motivation systems, and app design.
- Conduct academic execution reviews with Heads of Academics to ensure school teams are aligned, accountable, and producing results.
- Integrate data, interviews, and observations into academic ecosystem reviews that identify critical barriers to accelerated learning and recommend targeted interventions.
- Ensure strategic alignment through planning, feedback mechanisms, and milestone tracking to sustain focus on student learning objectives.
- Serve as the face of 2 Hour Learning at the highest levels, from keynote presentations to engagements with Ministries of Education, advancing systemic change in how education is conceived globally.
- Experimenting with isolated curriculum initiatives without creating systemic impact.
- Publishing theoretical research disconnected from student outcomes or operational execution.
- Outsourcing performance accountability to middle managers or external consultants.
- Depending on institutional reputation or theory to win over skeptical audiences.
