Overview
The Department of Chemistry and Geosciences within the College of Science and Mathematics at Valdosta State University seeks a Part-Time Instructor to teach in the newly created VSU Online College of Career Advancement. The selected candidate will teach Principles of Physical Geology (GEOL 1121K) and/or Resources, Society, and Environment (GEOG 1125).
Responsibilities
- Teach 100% of duties for assigned courses (Geology and/or Geography) remotely.
Qualifications
- Required:
Master’s degree in the appropriate field. - Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative setting.
- Record of mentoring students.
Compensation
Salary is commensurate with experience.
