Overview

The University of Alaska Fairbanks invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor rank in Business Administration, to begin in Fall 2026. Candidates are required to possess an earned DBA or Ph.D. in Business Administration or be ABD. Applicants seeking a balance of teaching, research, and service responsibilities will find a collegial work environment with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Candidates are required to possess a DBA or Ph.D. in Business Administration or be in ABD (all but dissertation) status, or a closely related degree. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience teaching both in-person and online. Candidates with industry experience in human resources management are preferred.

  • Ph.D., DBA, or ABD required. HR experience is preferred.
Position Details

This position is located on the Troth Yeddha' campus in Fairbanks. This is a 9-month, tenure-track, full-time appointment with a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. Salary will be aligned with qualifications and experience.
