Early Interventionist​/Infant Development Specialist; Home Visits

Ascend Rehab Services believes that every day holds the possibility of a miracle for the children we serve. We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Interventionist / Infant Development Specialist (IDS) to provide home-based Early Start services to infants and toddlers (ages 0–3) and their families in American Canyon and the surrounding Napa/Solano County areas

You’ll work in the child’s natural environment
, partnering closely with caregivers to support developmental progress.

• Supportive,
  close-knit multidisciplinary team (OTs, STs, IDSs)
• Strong mentorship and layered support
• Services provided through North Bay Regional Center (NBRC)
• Mission-driven organization serving Northern California since 2004

• Provide Early Intervention services to children ages 0–3
• Design developmentally appropriate activities targeting:
  • Cognitive
  • Communication
  • Motor
  • Social-emotional
  • Self-help skills
• Conduct developmental assessments and write reports
• Collaborate with families to meet IFSP goals
• Coach caregivers to support their child’s development

• Required: Minimum 3+
  years of Early Intervention experience with children ages 0–3
• Bachelor’s degree required in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or related field
  • Master’s degree preferred
• Home-based EI experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable transportation for home visits
• Commitment to long-term employment
• Spanish-speaking preferred

• Salary or hourly positions available
• $50,000 – $80,000 annually (based on experience)
