Online School Tutor - American Sign Language (ASL)

We are seeking an experienced Online ASL Tutor to support students in a fully remote, flexible learning environment. This is a part-time, contract role with ongoing work and no defined end date.

You will deliver engaging ASL instruction to students aged 11-18
, working either 1:1 or in small groups
. Students are highly sports-focused, so lessons must accommodate flexible scheduling around training and competitions.

• Contract basis
• Start date: December (ongoing)
• Hours: 4-5 hours per week
• Schedule: Fully flexible, sessions booked as students require support
• Location: Fully remote
• Time zones: Open to any US time zone

• Ages 11-18
• Small group or individual sessions
• Athletically focused students requiring adaptable lesson times

• Strong experience teaching American Sign Language
• Background in the field (does not need to be from a Deaf Institute)
• Confident and effective in remote/online teaching
• Based anywhere in the United States
• Able to adapt teaching style to individual learner needs

• $20-$30 per hour
• Potential flexibility for the right candidate
