Remote High School Math Teacher; NYS Certified

Overview

This is a remote, 1099 contract teaching position.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 7:15 AM to 2:45 PM. Daily pay is $275, negotiable. Valid NYS teacher certification in Math is required. Must be authorized to work in the United States. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position following the school district's calendar. Immediate start dates are based on available placement opportunities upon completion of the application process.

• Promote creativity and excitement in the virtual learning environment
• Create strategies to engage and nurture student learning and student relationships
• Create lesson plans aligned with the class curriculum
• Keep track of student grades and performance

• Deliver virtual instruction to students
• Engage students and support their progress toward course completion

• Must be authorized to work in the United States and have a current NYS teacher certification in high school Math
• Must have a Bachelor s Degree from an accredited college/university
• Laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access
• Complete our recruitment process and submit a background check as part of the application process
• Prior online teaching experience is a plus

This is a contract position and does not include benefits.
