Position: Tenure Track Assistant or Associate Professor of Aerospace Engineering (Remote - U.S)

Responsibilities
  • Teach online courses in aerospace and mechanical engineering, tailored to your qualifications
  • Develop and enhance undergraduate and graduate programs
  • Maintain an active research profile and seek funding opportunities
  • Mentor students and provide academic support
  • Participate in university service and attend mandatory college meetings and events
Qualifications
  • PhD in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a closely related engineering or science discipline
  • Ability to teach existing courses related to the candidate’s discipline
  • Strong publication record and potential to secure research funding
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Commitment to mentoring students and contributing to university service
Preferred Qualifications
  • Expertise in advanced air mobility, aircraft design, propulsion, and flight mechanics
  • College-level teaching experience, particularly in an online environment
  • Research experience in educational pedagogy
  • Experience with active military and veterans
  • Past work experience in a national research lab and/or industry
