Job Description
As the Content Strategy Manager for a Carlisle division, you will develop and execute content strategies that elevate brand visibility, drive qualified traffic, and generate high-value leads. You will engage with a variety of B2B audiences including architects, builders, contractors, and consultants. Collaborating closely with the Carlisle marketing team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping integrated campaign strategies, ensuring content initiatives align with overarching business goals and deliver measurable results.
This role is open to remote candidates or those within a commutable distance of Carlisle, PA.
Duties and Responsibilities- Develop clear and engaging content that is consistent with the company's brand image and addresses target audience needs.
- Analyze content marketing data to identify trends and anticipate audience needs.
- Perform content audits to assess how well existing content is performing.
- Conduct content gap analyses to determine what type of content is missing and what is needed.
- Develop social media strategy for assigned brands.
- Develop and manage content team to support business priorities.
- Create, adjust, and manage the editorial calendar.
- Develop a solid understanding of the target audience through online and traditional market research.
- Understand, participate in, and support company COS initiatives, focusing on developing a lean mindset.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Self‑motivated, well‑organized, team player with strong communication skills and a bias for action.
- Sound knowledge of content management systems, keyword research tools, social media platforms, SEO, and SEM.
- Experience in the construction industry with builders, contractors, and architects strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of software applications including Salesforce, Hub Spot, and Google Analytics strongly preferred.
- Strong background in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
- In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, a high school diploma with ten (10) years of comparable experience.
- At least three (3) to five (5) years in content strategy, design, UX writing, or closely related digital marketing roles.
- Experience building content for B2B audiences.
- Master’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, or a related field.
- Familiarity with construction, building product, manufacturing, or architectural channels is a strong plus.
This is a fully remote professional position. The incumbent is expected to maintain a dedicated, secure, and ergonomically appropriate home office environment with reliable high‑speed internet connectivity. The role requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining regular communication with colleagues and stakeholders via virtual collaboration tools.
The position typically operates during standard business hours of Monday – Friday (8am – 5pm), with flexibility required to accommodate meetings across time zones or critical business needs performed after hours or on weekends. The employee is expected to comply with all company policies related to data security, confidentiality, and remote work standards.
Travel will be required up to 10% for team meetings, trainings, or company events, with the expectation to travel to either Kimberton, PA or Carlisle, PA 1‑2 times per month.
