What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Develop and design instructional resources using ISD principles and adult learning theories
  • Evaluate curriculum documents and guide faculty in effective teaching strategies in a web-based environment
  • Create instructional web pages, online courses, and supportive learning materials
  • Track operational data and monitor the effectiveness of educational interventions
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members in instructional design and development
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design or related field;
    Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of two years of instructional design experience, preferably in healthcare
  • Proven experience with ISD principles in developing multimedia and traditional training systems
  • Experience with virtual education programs, including live and asynchronous formats
  • Strong oral and written communication skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Experience with continuing medical education or health professions training programs
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and instructional technology

    Skills in graphic/multimedia development tools
  • Knowledge of accreditation standards in health education
  • Ability to motivate faculty to adopt innovative learning styles
