Position SummaryWorking from the Duluth, Georgia, office and from your home office within Georgia, certified teachers at Georgia Connections Academy support and motivate students through high‑quality virtual instruction using the Pearson Online Classroom. Teachers deliver synchronous and asynchronous instruction, provide intervention and enrichment, engage families, and use data to drive student learning and growth.

Teachers may also be required to support virtual administration of assessments, as scheduled by the school.
Position Summary And ResponsibilitiesThe Related Services Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of related service provision for students with special needs. This role involves collaborating with service providers, ensuring compliance with service delivery expectations, and providing professional development to special education staff. The individual will maintain and monitor service trackers, manage provider availability, and address any noncompliance issues to ensure students receive the support they need.
Instruction& Academic Support
- Collaborate with related service providers to ensure effective service delivery.
- Facilitate open communication with special education leaders, providers, families, and staff to resolve any documentation or service delivery issues.
- Ensure completion and accuracy of related service logs to enable effective data reporting and analysis.
- Provide professional development and training to special education staff on related service procedures and best practices.
- Oversee and track the performance and compliance of related service providers using service trackers.
- Maintain and update the master calendar to manage provider availability.
- Monitor the fulfillment of expectations for related service providers, ensuring adherence to guidelines.
- Attend weekly meetings with Pearson to discuss service provision updates and address any concerns.
- Identify and address noncompliance issues related to related service provision.
- Work closely with related services analysts to maintain compliance and ensure timely service delivery.
- Supervise a group of case managers based on staffing needs, including TKES Other duties as assigned.
- Administer formative and summative assessments, including monthly progress monitoring, CFAs, and EOCs where applicable.
- Participate in all required Georgia state standardized assessments in‑person and virtual sessions, including Georgia Milestones, ACCESS, Georgia Alternative Assessment, etc., in addition to End‑of‑Pathway, benchmarks, CFAs, and diagnostic assessments.
