Position: Adjunct Instructor Department of Communication and Media (Online)
Job Summary

Adjunct Instructors provide instruction in assigned courses within their academic discipline. This is a part-time, pooled position filled on an as-needed basis depending on departmental teaching needs.

Essential Job Functions

* Teach courses at assigned times using current pedagogical methods, maintaining accurate records of student performance and grades.

* Maintain effective and timely communication with students, department chair, and other university personnel as appropriate.

Minimum and Desired Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

* Applicants should hold a graduate degree in the relevant teaching discipline or a closely related field. Additional qualifications may be required depending on accreditation standards or departmental needs.

* Demonstrated expertise in the subject area.

* Commitment to teaching excellence.

Desired

Qualifications:

* College or university-level teaching experience.

* Experience with online and technology-enhanced instruction.
