A K-12 school district is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services across two school sites, serving students from preschool through grade 12.
The contract runs from March 16, 2026, through June 5, 2026, with a 40-hour workweek in a hybrid format: three days in person and two days remote. The schools are located in the Vallejo and Rio Vista areas of California, serving diverse student populations and offering an engaging environment for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students with a variety of educational and emotional needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide consultation and support for behavioral and mental health interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to data-driven decision making
- Assist with crisis intervention and promote positive school climate initiatives
- Valid credential or license as a School Psychologist in California
- Experience working with preschool to grade 12 students in educational settings
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, RTI, and special education laws
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases while adhering to timelines and compliance requirements
