San Juan College seeks experienced educators trained in the Science of Reading and structured literacy to develop short (5–10 minute) instructional demonstration videos modeling evidence-based literacy practices aligned with New Mexico House Bill 156 (HB 156).
Selected contractors will create instructional videos demonstrating explicit, systematic literacy instruction for use in educator preparation coursework.
Contractors may be selected to develop up to four (4) approved videos at $1,000 per approved video.

San Juan College Teacher Education Department is seeking qualified independent contractors to develop high-quality instructional demonstration videos modeling structured literacy and Science of Reading practices.
Selected contractors will create 5–10 minute instructional videos demonstrating explicit, systematic literacy instruction for use in educator preparation coursework.
Each approved video will be compensated at $1,000.
Contractors may be selected to develop up to four (4) videos based on demonstrated expertise, topic alignment and quality of submission.
Video topics will be assigned based on applicant expertise and program needs.
Required Qualifications- Documented training in the Science of Reading (LETRS, Orton‑Gillingham, or equivalent)
- Experience teaching foundational literacy skills
- Experience working with struggling readers and/or students with dyslexia
- Ability to model explicit instruction clearly and accurately
- Familiarity with structured literacy principles
- Reading specialist certification
- Experience conducting dyslexia screenings
- Experience in intervention settings (Tier 2 or Tier
3) - Experience working with multilingual learners
- Prior experience developing professional learning materials
- $1,000 per approved video
