Do you like helping others succeed? We are seeking tutors for Tutoring students as assigned and needed. This recruitment is open internally to current UA employees or those otherwise eligible to apply to internal postings.
The Learning Commons Lead position is a pooled posting to hire leads from within the current tutoring staff or as needed in tutoring for departments who collaborate with the Learning Commons.
ResponsibilitiesLeads must be great at communicating, have previous experience tutoring, and have an attitude of collaboration and care for UAA students.
Minimum QualificationsPrior tutoring experience preferred, but not required. Orientation or training provided upon hire.
Position DetailsThis position is located at the University of Alaska campus in Anchorage.
This is a part-time, non-exempt temporary staff position, 12 month. Rate of pay $18.18 an hour.
