Brief Job Overview/Summary
The Office of Student Development is responsible for providing leadership and administrative direction to a comprehensive student club and organization program, which complements and supports the academic mission of the college and enriches the quality of student life. As the central point of contact and training for more than 200 student organizations and the leaders and members of these organizations, the Office of Student Development is a multifaceted operation dedicated to serving the college community as advocates, advisors, educators, and administrators for students and student groups in order to create and foster leadership and involvement opportunities that will enhance personal, interpersonal, and organizational development.
Descriptions of Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
The Office of Student Development Graduate Coordinators will be responsible for the following:
Student Organization Support & Advising
* Provide consultation to student organization leaders on event planning, policies, and procedures using Osprey Hub
* Assist with organization registration, roster management, and compliance processes
* Support student organization recognition and leadership initiatives
* Help facilitate student organization and advisor trainings and leadership workshops
* Serve as a customer service contact for students, advisors, and campus partners
Programming & Leadership Development
* Assist with planning and implementation of major Student Development programs such as Get Involved Fair, University Weekend, Film Series, Student Faculty Staff Dinner, leadership and cultural programs, and campus traditions
* Support fraternity and sorority life educational initiatives and leadership programs
* Share responsibility for evening and weekend event management
* Collaborate with student leaders across multiple programming boards and initiatives
Operations & Administration
* Assist with 25

* Help complete event contracts, purchasing paperwork, and risk management documentation
* Support marketing and communication efforts for programs and initiatives
* Participate in departmental committees and projects
* Assist with general office operations and front desk coverage
Assessment & Evaluation
* Develop and implement assessment tools for programs and services
* Collect and analyze feedback to improve student engagement initiatives
* Support departmental reporting and data tracking
Additional Responsibilities
* Serve as a college vehicle driver and chaperone for off-campus trips when needed
* Perform other duties as assigned to support office operations and student engagement
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Interest in higher education, student affairs, or campus programming
* Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities
* Comfort working with diverse student populations and campus partners
* Problem solving and decision-making skills in fast-paced environments
* Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends
Required Qualifications:
* Must be a currently enrolled matriculated graduate student at Stockton University
* Bachelor's degree with experience demonstrating understanding of leadership and student development
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Professionalism, flexibility, organization, and self-motivation
