The Admissions Specialist is a dedicated professional who understands the needs, challenges, and benefits of degree completion for adult learners.

They are responsible for coaching admitted students on the associated required tasks, best practices, helpful resources, degree completion requirements, and assisting adult learners in the transition to being a full‑time student at each of the universities Project Kitty Hawk serves.

The Admissions Specialist serves students by offering coaching to the student from the time of the student’s application being accepted for admission, all the way through their first week of classes.

The Admissions Specialist serves Project Kitty Hawk by ensuring that new students are set up for a successful start of class, and that they are laying the right foundation to be a successful graduate from PKH’s partner universities.

• Connect with newly admitted students, and use discovery notes to help the student complete all remaining tasks and be fully prepared for academic rigor ahead of their classes starting.
• Manage student files and keep them engaged as they prepare for classes, sometimes months ahead of the starting date.
• Help students assess their readiness for classes and connect them to relevant resources to assist in their successful start.
• Complete discovery sessions with students to identify their preparedness, create a clear roadmap for success, and monitor their progress.
• Analyze and interpret data to effectively support students and improve conversion rates.
• Ensure confidentiality and proper documentation of all student information.
• Adhere to and enforce the appropriate security policies based on the sensitivity of company data.
