Pay Range: $1,440 per credit hour. Salary offers will be based on education, experience, and relevant skills, as well as the academic or professional discipline of the position in the context of the home department, school, or college. Salary offers may also be influenced by prior relevant work or industry experience, where applicable. Faculty pay ranges are for 8.5 months’ salary unless otherwise specified.

Marriage & Family Therapy is seeking a part‑time instructor to teach MFT 773 (3 credits) Family Violence:
Theory and Therapy during the Spring 2026 semester.
Course
Description:
Systemic approach to assessment and treatment of family violence. Child, spousal, and parental abuse.
The hiring rate of pay for the successful candidate will be determined based on their per‑credit‑rate history within the hiring department.
All course offerings are subject to funding availability and enrollment.
Qualifications:
- MA or PhD, and previous teaching experience.
- LMFT or equivalent.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and/or updating class syllabus.
- Preparation of lectures, projects or other student assignments.
- Maintaining regularly scheduled office hours.
- Presenting instruction based on the competencies and performance levels of the course.
- Meeting all designated class periods.
- Submitting completed mid‑semester progress reports and final grades according to University regulations.
- Grading student assignments and exams in a timely manner.
- Providing departmentally sanctioned forms for completed student evaluations.
- Building a positive rapport with students and other faculty.
