In this position, you will guide each family's experience from initial inquiry through final enrollment, ensuring that every touchpoint embodies Alpha's precision, warmth, and excellence. You will manage daily correspondence, organize impactful admissions events, and keep applicant data accurate to support informed decision‑making.

What You Will Be Doing- Take ownership of the admissions inbox, delivering timely, thoughtful, and professional responses to prospective families (both virtually and face‑to‑face).
- Handle and monitor digital admissions documentation with exceptional precision.
- Attend and support all admissions events, including information sessions, shadow days, and community gatherings, both on‑site and virtually.
- Work closely with Lead Guides to arrange shadow day schedules for prospective students.
- Maintain current, accurate records and follow‑ups across all admissions systems.
- Define admissions strategy or determine final enrollment decisions.
- Operate exclusively in an administrative capacity with no direct family engagement.
- Work within a slow‑moving, heavily bureaucratic structure.
- Prioritize relationship‑building at the expense of execution and follow‑through.
Key Responsibilities
This role ensures that a frictionless, high‑conversion admissions process fuels robust enrollment and family satisfaction across all Alpha campuses.
Basic Requirements- Background in education, as a teacher, in admissions, enrollment management, or a related field.
- 2+ years of customer‑facing experience in admissions, enrollment, events, or related roles.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills; you are highly reliable and detail‑oriented.
- High attention to detail and experience maintaining accurate applicant records or CRM data.
- Comfortable balancing remote work with in‑person campus responsibilities.
- Able to adapt quickly and thrive in a dynamic, mission‑driven environment.
- Authorized to work in the US and able to work in‑person in either San Francisco; CA, Santa Barbara; CA or NYC; NY.

Working with usThis is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $37 USD/hour, which equates to $75,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
